In college courses, we are continually engaged with other people’s ideas: we read them in texts, hear them in lecture, discuss them in class, and incorporate them into our own writing. As a result, it is very important that we give credit where it is due. Plagiarism is using others’ ideas and words without clearly acknowledging the source of that information. To avoid plagiarism, you must give credit whenever you use another person’s idea, opinion, or theory; any facts, statistics, graphs, drawings—any pieces of information—that are not common knowledge; quotations of another person’s actual spoken or written words; or paraphrase of another person’s spoken or written words.
Most of this plagiarism is take place with student cause most of the time we don’t want to do the work or look the work up at. We never want to take the time out to find the research. I think if someone use my work and they didn’t give me credit for it, I would be really upset and try to get them in trouble of about it, but the hard thing is finding out. I never have been in a plagiarism situation at all beside one time in high school. I was in English class and I was trying to help a find out with her paper. She wanted to look at my paper to see how I got it started and how the paper supposes to look when we got done with it. Instead of her getting some generally idea from my paper, she went and copy almost all my work. After we had to turn the paper in we both got a zero because the teach thought we was copying off each other. I stayed after class and talk to my teacher and let her know I was just helping her with the assignment, I didn’t know she was going to try and copy it. So the teacher believes me and gave me a better grade for coming to her and telling the truth. Anytime you write have a paper and its dealing with someone else quote we have to give credit.
The sited like you tube and wikipedia are copy and I don’t think it legally owned. You can go on these and get anything off those sites.

Hello everyone how is class going so far, since we are in our 3rd week. I think it’s doing okay so far to me; writing is just not my thing at all. But I like to research and I like to do a lot of brainstorming cause that helps me out on what I'm going to do next. Do you guys think that brainstorming is very helpful in our everyday life?
When I choose to be an online student I done it for many reason, and one of them reason was because of my family. At the time I had a lot of sickness on both side of my family and as time went on I had death on both side of my family at the same time. Also during that tragedy time I was going to a community college and I failed my classes’ cause I was out so much and missing class. I knew I wanted to go back to school and I didn’t know what way to go, that went I choose online. But now since I’m an online student it is great for me because it is very time consuming, flexibility, and self-directed.
Being part of a larger writing community like blog is great because you get to meet new people and you get to socialize a lot.
